What is the Tsyep Application?
TSYEP stands for Tompkins Summer Youth Employment Program. This organization provides YES with funding for the Summer Jobs Program. To determine whether a teen is eligible to receive subsidized employment via TSYEP funding, a TSYEP application must be filled out and submitted to YES for review.
Which teens are required to fill out the TSYEP application?
ONLY teens who qualify for free or reduced price lunch at school are required to fill out the TSYEP application. If you are unsure whether or not you qualify for free or reduced price lunch, fill out the TSYEP.
Please note that the TSYEP requires a parent/guardian signature and asks questions related to family income and size. For this reason we recommend parents/guardians fill out this application rather than the teens. Families may also be required to provide income-related documents.

How do i submit my completed tsyep application?
There are a couple options for how to submit your completed TSYEP application to YES.
1. You may download, print, and fill out the TSYEP form and drop off or mail a completed copy to the Ithaca Youth Bureau. If you do not have access to a printer and wish to have the form mailed to you, please call us at (607) 273-1849
